Pinned specimen of striking-looking syrphid, no data about location, in a museum of natural history in Bonn, Germany (Museum König). ID needed please!

It's a male Chalcosyrphus sp., one of the red legged species

Huh! I see that there are a lot of similar species! Chalcosyrphis valgus, femoratus, curvaria... There is no way of distinguish them?
