Hello everybody,
I hope somebody has the R.Rozkosny 1984 "Sciomyzidae of Fennoscandia and Denmark" and could make a copy of pages 152-154, with images of Limnia. I have some males and can't tell them apart...
Or any other source with a key and illustrations to Limnia males would be helpful.

In my opinion L. paludicola is a synonym of L. unguicornis.
That is why you could not
tell them apart...

Dear Nikita,
Thank you for the illustration! I hope it will help to clear some things out.
As for the synonymy, it would be nice if Paul's idea materialized and somebody took a closer look at those nice flies. Many would agree there are too many questions and not enough dipterists to answer them all... At least with have that pleasure of the question solving Smile
