Hi,

I have a question. This larva is Diptera ? Maybe you could identify this larva ?

Location: Lithuania 2018.03.12
Found this larva under the birch (Betula) bark.

I think Buprestidae. perhaps even Agrilus see for instance http://journals.p...ne.0033185
edit: I have checked the larval key on Buprestidae in Klausnitzer (1994) and I think it is closer to Coroebus, for those larvae suppose to have a chitinized plate on the pronotum and prosternum. However, the species live on Quercus (undatus, florentinus) or Potentilla (elatus). Else it would be Agrilus of which at least betuleti and viridis are found in Betula.
