2017.07.20 find this on leaf of Chamerion angustifolium
Russia, Novgorod region.
I see only, this is diptera larva.
Is it possible to determine this more accurately?

This looks like a Xanthandrus larva, which is a known caterpillar predator

Tony, thank you, this really looks alike the photos in net. I have never met this genus of Syrphidae, but such larva I met only once, too. Perhaps, it is not a common fly im my region. Thank you else once.

Perhaps, I'm mistaken. In my Syrphidae folder I find now one not id fly. Tell me, please, may be it is Xanthandrus?

I don't think this is Xanthandrus - more like a Melanostoma female
