In Ticino Switzerland we found on a kitchen floor of an elderly woman little larvae. They have no head, six pairs of prolegs and a little stem at the end. The larvae are about 15 mm long. They move with undulating body movements.
We guess it is a diptera larvae but are very unsure. Does anybody know more?
Thanks! Michael

That's it, definitely! Many thanks, we were completely on the wrong track (soldier flies, bot flies, Fannia, etc.). I guess, the old lady has to solve a wasp problem.
Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
