Hi,

A friend submits me this fly pictured in the Pyrenees.
I guessed Dexia but I'm even not sure for Tachinidae Sad

Hi Eric,

It's clearly a Tachinidae - Dexiini, so you can't be far off. It might very well be Dexia rustica, but since we can't see the head properly, I can't exclude some other possibilities.

Tachinid fly are very exciting but what difficult !
