Pholcidae > Pholcus sp.

I thought in Holocnemus. I would like to see a dorsal view.

I think this might be a Pholcidae, a Pholcus phalangioides, known in Britain by "daddy-long-leggs" spider. Thinking better, may also be a Psilochorus simoni, beacuse of the globular abdomen.

It is very improbable to be Psilochorus simoni. There is no Psilochorus simoni in Portugal known so far! I need to see a dorsal view, to be sure, if this can be or Holocnemus (there are globular Holocnemus has well.) or Pholcus.
See the website of my friend and mine as well: www.aranhas.info go to Esp?cies > Pholcidae > and see the list of species known for Portugal

There is another work in www.ennor.org (seek for spider catalogue. Beware that we don?t agree with all species that there is in that catalogue.)

IN next months aranhas.info will have more new info. It will take a while, though.
