Hey dipterists
aquatic bloodworm
As it's the first time I saw these larvae in the sediments of a little anoxic pond
NO ciliates in the water... just flagellates alike Distigma, Euglena, Astasia
I have made a videoclip concernining this organism.
Determination reaches me to Chironomidae Polypedilum

hello Solito
I'm almost certain that this would be a 3th stage larvae (out of 4) of Polypedilum nubeculosum.
