Hello,

Here is a beautiful green male Chironomid (as a matter of fact, assembled from two photos).

Any idea about a genus?

yes. Grin See the gallery. This fits precisely on Stenochironomus sp. The species.. I don?t know. Sad
Yesterday I saw spectacular red chironomids. Wink

Jorge,

Looking twice at your Stenochironomus cf. gibbus in the Gallery, I find it has spotted wings. Mines are totally clear.
