Another fly on Daucus carota

Hello
Caught in my garden on flower of Daucus carota in NE of France (Distroff 57925), the 16/08/2017. Lenght body : 7 to 8 mm, wings : 5 to 6 mm.

Reminds me of Solieria, which is in the same tribe as Demoticus (the genus suggested for the other fly).

I arrived to Solieria vacua : palps thickened ± club-shaped, yellow and frons 1.02 - 1.30x as wide as one eye (here 1,3).

Based on the colouration of the palpus, you are right.
I have no idea how reliable this feature is.

I'd say: get the male !
