:-) A funny 'evil' looking creature that seem to belong to the subfamily Dasypogoninae, but i guess Eric will enlighten us.

Lastaurina ardens male; beautiful shot -- please add to gallery! 'Fluffy' + 'Dasypogon' in the neotropics = Lastaurus - group. Wicked, recurved dagger of a proboscis does look evil ! |
