I believe this may be a large Cheilosa? The legs are visible which have some -many of the diagnostic features of this genus. There are projecting hairs on the eyes and those dense golden abdomen hairs should help. Can someone here ID please. Feeding at Cow Parsley, Ancient Woodland, Wilts, England, May 2017.
