Can someone ID this mysterious creature? I think maybe the wings are crippled in some way ... Location: Midwest Sweden (Dalsland) Date: 2007-JUL-18 Habitat: Garden (sitting on wall of the house)

I think that can be Noctua pronuba... The wings are normal, only is that it's a newly emerged specimen. If you wait to the total expansion of the wings, you will can identify it easily. |
