Hi there, is this Rhingia rostrata or R. campestris? I read, that Rhingia rostrata has a shorter "bill" Seen in Germany, Baden-Württemberg, Waldshut, in a garden (02.05.17) Thanks a lot, Chris JarJar attached the following image:  [205.38Kb] |

It's campestris. Rostrata lacks the lateral black stripes and long median stripes on the abdomen. |
