Hello!

At first my apologies for the very bad picture quality (very windy yesterday...). This fly from Ostwestfalen/Germany was found on a bigger forest clearing. It resembles Gymnosoma a little bit with its orange abdomen, but the spots - and the fly itself (3-4 mm) - were rather small. Any idea? Thanks in advance!

Well, normally we demand better pictures, and normally you deliver.
Subclytia, however, is very easy to ID, could do it with binoculairs if necessary so to speak
