HI, i think Stratiomidae family. and that smalls are pseudoscorpions. very interesting never something similar. how big was the fly or the pseudoscorpion? hope this helps you, cosmln |

wow!!! amazing!! I saw many mites attached to a fly, but never so many pseudoscorpions!! This is a phoretic phenomenon. I think in Ulidiidae for the fly.  |

Thanks for your first comments  I forgot to mention the size (sorry : beginning in this forum) : about 5-6 mm for the big one and smaller for those pseudoscorpions. |

Thanks to all for your help If I understand, those pseudoscorpions are only using this fly as transport and not eating it ? If yes, I don't know if it is a good idea given there were to many pseudoscorpions and I'm afraid this poor insect was not able to fly any more...  Pierre |

The pseudoscorpions could belong to the Cheliferidae or Chernetidae family. |

Jorge, I'm not sure : I found on the web that they belong to the Arachnida - Pseudoscorpionida - Garypidae. It seems to be a Garypus and I will call it Garypus sp. given they are many kinds of Garypus  Is there someone to confirm ? Pierre Pierre OGER 4217 H?ron (BELGIUM) |
