Eumerus is a difficult genus (at least for me  ), but given the size you mentioned it shouldn't be E. sabulonum which is about 5-7 mm long. I can't say more...

The location makes me say that it is sabulonum and that the given size is off.

Since I remember focusing as close as possible to get decent detail, you are almost certainly right Paul, it was probably less than 1cm. Thanks to all for their help. BW Tristan |
