In a feast of aphids (Impatientinum asiaticum I think) on Small Balsam Forrest yesterday. There were lots of Meliscaeva cinctella in the flowers but I do not know if the larvae is the same species. Thanks, Ole ole attached the following image:  [74.37Kb] |

Nope. It is Aphidoletes aphidimyza a cecidomid |
