It's something of the Sphex family (Sphecidae s.str.). Unfortunately, I cannot recognize nor genus nor species. Probobly a Prionyx (subfuscatus) or a Palmodes. Wing venation will be necessary for id., and also gaster color.

Regards, Christian

I can no longer send private messages (and maybe not receive?), even though my inbox and outbox are not yet full. I write, click "send" and they disappear and never show up in the outbox.
