Iam a student working on Necrophagous diptera attacking Animals I need Descriptions of some diptera?
1. Lucilia cuprina
2. Lucilia sericata
3. Calliphora vicina
4. Musca domestica
5. Muscine stabulans
6. Fannia canicularis
Also I have some sarcophagidae, Iam working on to have some good photos and try to know the spices

Than you Paul Beuk , I will send PM Robert Nash. I have got some keys for Pape (Sarcophagidae) and Rognes (Calliphoridae) BUT not for our area (JORDAN). I will see what can I do with it.

Some recent publications on Sarcophagidae and Calliphoridae for your area are:

Sarcophagidae:
A. Lehrer, Sarcophaginae et Paramacronychiinae du Proche Orient.
PENSOFT SERIES FAUNISTICA 60

Calliphoridae:
Rognes, Blowflies (Diptera, Calliphoridae) of Israel and Adjacent Areas. ENTOMOLOGICA SCANDINAVICA SUPPLEMENTS 59.

Both available at www.nhbs.com and others.

You can also send specimens of Sarcophagidae to Pape or to me for identifcation.
