Hi, i found Symphyta larvae with some kind of eggs on the head. Found in Slovenia. Can someone id this parasite eggs. Thanks! buggub attached the following image: [171.6Kb] |

Tryphoninae (Ichneumonidae) are know to anchor stakked eggs on sawflies larvae, often behind the head. So maybe are these eggs of Tryphoninae? One of the eggs (the one with black apex) seems to be "glued" on the cephalic capsule, which seems strange. But the other one looks quite typical I think (but I'm not a specialist at all). Nice pic!
