Bringing this old thread back, because reading von Tschirnhaus' description (linked above) - shouldn't this fly be C. strigulus? Aristal base is black (should be yellowish-brown in frontosus) Tergites laterally not yellow (yellow-black stripe in frontosus) Femora dark with yellow knees (yellow with black stripes in frontosus) I am bringing this up mainly because this photo has been added to gallery, labelled as C. frontosus Cheers, Lorin Font Color All requests are from the urban area of Vienna, if not otherwise stated.
