Hello,
this fly was found in Bad Sachsa, Germany, Harz mountains (360 m) on July 31 between beech forest and fish ponds. Could it be Dinera carinifrons?

Thank you for an answer!

Hans

Yes, except for the fact that the species has been split in two

carinifrons s.s. and fuscana.

Need to check the distribution.

Hello,
I asked Joachim Ziegler who confirmed it as Dinera fuscata occidentalis Ziegler, 2016.

Cheers, Hans
