Yesterday, Sabi?anigo, Aragon, Spain (Pre-Pyrenees)

I saw various Tabanus but only one out of my body. This one was drinking water in a zone with shrubs and rocks (dominant Ligustrum vulgare and some Quercus faginea, Sorbus domestica, Genista scorpius, etc).

But there was too much light and the colour of the picture was modified, very hard contrast, too many white. I hope, so, that can be enough to identify it to species level.

The Tabanus sizes 12-13 mm.

Not enough detail for a positive ID. It's a male. I think it looks more like a Hybomitra than a Tabanus
