At least, I think it is a Tachinid.
10 mm,
Chaumont-Gistoux (B), by the road side in amongst assorted weeds.

Yes, it's a tachinid but I am not sure which one without seeing the face a bit clearer.

Indeed, a TAchinid in the genus Linnaemyia.

Can't give a species, but it is consistent with the most common one L. tessellans.
