Hello! Can you identify this fly please? I think it is a Tachina fera, isn't it? The photo was made near Hanover, Lower Saxony, Germany on a field three years ago in the summer. Hi Theo ... having read it back again I have seen that it could have been phrased a bit better I was trying to say that his photo was P. hemiptera, not T. fera ... and then I was showing him my page of photos of T. fera. But instead I demonstrated the perrils of typing what I was thinking ... and not punctuating it properly! |
