Is this a Parhelophilus sp or a Helophilus sp? Sorry, but I didn't get an anterior shot ... Thanx for any help with ID!

I didn't think this was the same species, but perhaps it is!? Same day and location, but not the exact same spot ... I only got one shot of this individual.

Yes it is Parhelophilus, my opinion versicolor. Take a look at the leg 3, in case you check it: if it has some near base a posteroventral tubercle, with black hairs, that makes it frutetorum. If the tubercla doesn't exist-versicolor.
Anyway I believe more in versicolor, because I see the femur 3 on base yellow.

Hi, thanx Amalia. I don't have the specimen so I have to name it Parhelophilus sp.
