Hey I need help to solve my determination of this Chironomidae larva The mentum median tooth is one of the Orthocladiinae species A main characteristic of this larva is the presence of 1 pair od seta tufts on the lateral part of the abdominal segments ![]() The colour of the larva is often pale green with dark pattern ![]() Antennae ![]() Setae on the pedicells ![]() If someone could reach me to the name Thank you SDS Edited by solito de solis on 25-05-2015 09:16 |

these tufts of seta is almost typical for Cricotopus and the size of it and the color of the larvae makes it Cricotopus intersectus agg. |
