Compare with Taeniopteryx nebulosa. Most characteristics seem to fit, including size and early activity.

In North America genus Taeniopteryx can be identified by small, pale scars at the base of the inner side of the coxae. I can't tell from these pictures. See http://bugguide.n...iew/261614.

I can no longer send private messages (and maybe not receive?), even though my inbox and outbox are not yet full. I write, click "send" and they disappear and never show up in the outbox.
