Hello, I found these 7-10 mm long larvae under a piece of wood on an acre near forest yesterday (northwest Germany). Spontaneously I thought of Bibionidae, but that does not seem to be right. Any hint? 1200x1200 pixel photo: http://insektenfo...tID=207820 Juergen Peters attached the following image: [114.3Kb] Edited by Juergen Peters on 13-03-2015 22:49 Best regards, Jürgen -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Juergen Peters Borgholzhausen, Germany WWW: http://insektenfo... -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= |

Sciaroidea. Bibionidae are lumpier and less shiny. |
