Dear Lennart, You are right that Cheilosia is very problematic genus in identification. In the end of summer and during autumn in Central Europe only few Cheilosia species have flight period. We can observe bare eyes species of pagana group (longula, scutellata, soror, pagana) and C. vernalis. I think it is female of C. vernalis because of hairy eyes, bristles on the scutellum and very dark hind tibia. Regards, Lukasz Edited by Lukasz Mielczarek on 21-01-2015 14:47 |
