Hi * locality - Silgueiros - Viseu - PORTUGAL * date - 2007.05.26 * size - 3 mm (small fly) * habitat - openland; near Mentha spp, grassfield, with many leafhoppers * substrate - hovering near grass My very first pipunculid fly. Perhaps Eudorylas sp. ? Eudorylas or Dasydorylas seems likely, if you have specimen Kehlmaier 2005 is what you need to identify to species. |
