Hello,

can someone identify this tachinid fly? The larvas - 2 of them - lived in a caterpiller, found in late November; family Noctuidae, subfamily Noctuinae, not sure, but I think Xestia sp. I still have the speciman.

Location: Germany, Rhineland-Palatinum, 53572 Unkel, river Rhine valley, Stux hill, dry and warm habitat (grapeyards),11. 01. 2015 (date of foto, the fly hatched two days earlier).

Thanks in advance,

Michael
