Hi

* locality - Lagoa Comprida - Serra da Estrela - PORTUGAL
* date - 2007.05.15
* size - 7 mm (medium fly)
* habitat - very rich place with Juniperus sp, Erica sp., mosses, and with granitic rocks
* substrate - Erica sp.

Typical male of Heleomyza !.
It could be H. serrata or H. captiosa or another one from the species group Smile. If the mesopleuron is really haired ?? so I am in trouble to ID to the species level.
Please, please Smile collect a couple for preparation.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
