Hi evryone, Today I photographed 3 very characteristic flys (I think so) Any ideas??? This is the first one, the colors are not fake! This is the second This is the last one Thanks allready!! Bye, Joe |

Hello, Joe! The first one is no Diptera (you can clearly see the four wings), but Hymenoptera, Symphyta. No. 2 is a Syrphid, probably genus Xylota, No. 3 and 4 are Sarcophagidae. Hi, sorry about that. The photo's where taken in Gent, Belgium. At a place where forest turns into meadow. It's a very sunny place. No lake, pond or anything with water is around. Just high gras (50 cm) Much beech. Thanks already! Bye, Joe |
