The most similar is Phytoecia cylindrica, but I'm not sure. In Euphorbia serrata flowers in Pe?iscola, Castellon, Spain. Summer 2006. 1 cm long less or more.  Thanks. |

hi, i have some specimens who looks the same (from romania). but i'm not even sure if this are Cerambycidae. but i'm sure that is not even close to Phytoecia or even Lamiinae. cosmln |

Thanks Cthirion! I think that it was impossible! This picture are during months in various insect forums and anybody know it. I see the images very similar. As the antennae are very short I suppoose that is a female. The beetle is very small for the normal Opsilia size... Thanks again!  |

Thanks again!  is not imposible. i have searching and searching... this is Deilus fugax, Cerambycinae, Cerambycidae. i don't know that other species from this genus to be present in Europe, so only this can be. i hope this help you, cosmln |

Yeeeees!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is identical!!!! This one is a Deilus fugax! You have reason, is not a Lamiinae! This is the only species of this genus in Iberian Peninsula, also. Thank you very very much! |

I have doubts, ?lytres not truncated with the end, nor narrow, nor striate! Color of the body, the antennas, of the legs, pilosity...... but the photograph induces me in error because of the angle! Opsilia molybdaena 5-9 mm, ........very difficult You are right for the antennas! Attention also with the species introduced with the exotic wood!
