hello fly-forum, I was just trying to make a picture of a moth when these uninvited flies came passing by.. And not just passing, they get mating in front of the camera! At that time I did not got my flash ready of course.. so I have to do with some dark pictures.. I though it might be Rhamphomyia, but they don't have a bill like them..? what are they?, I asked myself and put them on diptera.info.. Hello, Robert! Robert Heemskerk wrote: I though it might be Rhamphomyia, but they don't have a bill like them..? Better wait for the experts, but I think these two are Anisopodidae (Sylvicola?).
