What is the correct name of this species? In lingua Latina it should be the female form however in Fauna Europaea (and in some cases here in the forum) the male form is used. Regards, Ingo

There are many mistakes in Fauna Europaea. Albipunctata is the correct form; for reasons you correctly point out.

Thank you Gunnar. On commons we have a system of categories to describe and sort photos. And many people use Fauna Europaea as an orientation for sorting their works.
