I photographed this Tachinid (I think) at Heukelum, Netherlands today in a small piece of woodland. It was about 10 mm long. Could anything be said about its ID? Thanks in advance! Edited by Jan Zwaaneveld on 14-04-2007 18:27 http://slamenietd...web-log.nl |

Not, unless you attach the photo.

Could it perhaps be Phryxe?

It doesn't look like a Phryxe to me, but it might just be that the insect is dark because the picture has too much contrast. Difficult to tell what it could be but with a specimen it would be fairly easy I think |

Its ID will remain a mystery then, I'm afraid Thank you for your reply, Chris! http://slamenietd...web-log.nl |
