Came to light in Pima County, Arizona, USA, on the night of July 25, 2013.

Probably Rivellia wulpiana, though that could change if somebody revises Mexican species.

Van der Wulp misidentified the Mexican species with broad wing bands as conjuncta Loew, which is in fact restricted to eastern North America. Hendel named the species after him.
