Yesterday I photographed this bee at Leerdam, Netherlands. It was quite a large bee, just a fraction smaller than a Honey bee. It has a distinct grey overall colour and it has yellow-golden hairy thighs.

Does anybody know its name?

Thank you in advance!

Hello, Jan!

Genus Andrena, most likely A. vaga (female).
Best regards,
