I found these nymphs/larvae and the pupa under birch bark on a cut down tree together with beetles of the species Bitoma crenata. Someone suggested they are diptera. I also found a small diptera, but didn't get a good shoot of that. It was rather small.

Location: Near Stockholm, Sweden
Date: 2007-APR-07
Size: nymph ~5mm, pupa ~6mm

THanx in advance for ID!

Top: probably ceratopogonid pupae.
Bottom: probably lonchaeid pupa.
Rear them and send them over. Pfft
