Hello, New to diptera.info, this is my first post! I wonder whether this fly, found on 31/12/2006 at 2:00 am by a very warm night (~ 14?C) and attracted by light, is or not a Dryomyzidae. The fly was big (between 10 and 15 mm, roughly) and did make a loud noise when flying. Pictures taken in Cuigy (France, 60), Picardy. (I will put those images on the gallery soon as those links won't be permanent.) Higher definition of the 2 pictures available here: wings, from above head and thorax Edited by SpinH on 04-04-2007 17:40 Daniel |
