Andrenosoma sp. Possibly atrum, but I'm not sure, if any other species besides atrum and albibarbe occur in Spain. |

In Spain are described atrum an albibarbe only, so would be correct Andrenosoma cf. atrum or A. atrum for you? Thanks Manuel |

There is some red glimmering through i think : ) but more importantly the first posterior cell R5 is open it should be closed in atra (atrum). So that would make it A. albibarbe, but please add a cf for it could well be a Spanish endemic.

Hm, I think the Cell R5 contact the border of the wing. It's not good to see. Zooming the picture and this detail is better to see. The taxonomic review of the spanish species of Andrenosoma terms this form 'Andrenosoma bayardi'. I am not sure, but the review says, this species could be A.bayardi. :-/ edit (Picture): zoom from the wing Markus Gebel attached the following image: [294.54Kb] Edited by Markus Gebel on 15-05-2018 11:33 |
