Hi, Can anyone help to id this? Found resting on canvas beside a pond in rural north Cornwall,probably about 6mm from memory. pic taken on the 21st feb. thankyou

A female Ceratopoginid midge? But could well be a strange Simuliid midge as well. These two families are very closely related.
