Hallo!

Last week in April I found this 3-4mm sized Pupae.
Jürgen Peters identified it as Fannia sp. Is it possible to say more about it?

It is from a bavarian forest, from a tree branch Pinus sylvestris.

Only few Fannia have described larval stages. Your specimen is similar to these of Fannia armata.

Thank you Andrzej!

But I think its more safe with cf because of the other species with same pupae.

Regards,
Dennis

I can no longer send private messages (and maybe not receive?), even though my inbox and outbox are not yet full. I write, click "send" and they disappear and never show up in the outbox.
