Hi Robert, Close. It is a Rhinophorid, definitely not Phyto, however. My guess would be Stevenia umbratica Theo Zeegers |

Hi Theo, This week, I can make a good detailed picture of (for example) the head, if that is needed..? to be more sure about St. umbratica.. Or what other detail is needed? Thank you anyway for your comment |

To be very sure, I would need a pic of the head in sideview, in order to see the lower parafacialia. But I have little doubt it is Stevenia umbratica. Was it found inside a house, or outside ? Theo |

I found the fly inside the house, but there is al lot of 'traffic' with plants inside and outside the house. On my balcony I have many Isopoda.. I am bussy this week, but I'll try to make a better picture of the lower parafacialia. Greeting, Robert |
