Fly on Pink Flower: A New One to Me

This is the first time I remember seeing this kind of fly. They have been pretty common on various plants in my yard this year. An ID would be really appreciated!

Stephen,

I moved this to the Syrphidae forum, because that is where it belongs. The name that springs to mind is Criorhina, but I may be totally off target there. We have far better Syrphidae specialists than me. Wink
