Since no brush structures on rear end ... Unfortunately it escaped, so no way to se wht will develop. Yes, I'm fairly sure this is an Anthrenus larva that has lost the posterior tufts of bristles. Those bristles are defensive, and are easily shed if the larva feels threatened. The spear-like heads of the bristles will cause severe irritation. (see http://www.psmicr...e/80200902) I hope this didn't escape into a dried insect collection! Hmm. in theory all the rest of hairs could be broken off too, see this: http://agrozoo.ne...9c58ae9950 Have this one stored for a 1.5 month now and it is not developing anywhere. I just thought the one from first post has unusual hair lenght, my filling is it did not loose pen structures. Took it from wall and took a shoot right away.
