Hi everyone,

I found this puparium associated to a parasitoid Hymenoptera (Eucoilinae, Figitidae) museum specimen. Does anyone have an idea of which family (or genus?) it belongs to?

Thank you!

Perhaps Sphaeroceridae? What was the substrate?

Thanks, Paul.
I'm afraid I don´t have any more information about the puparium, except that it was collected in Europe. It was glued to the same pin as the Hymenoptera, but there is no information on the label about it.
There is little information about hosts of many groups of Eucoilines, that´s why it´s interesting for me to know more about it.

Thren perhaps consider Heleomyzidae. Almost 4 mm will rule out many acalyptrates (where this one certainly belongs), including most sphaerocerids. Here at home I have no access to the books that might tell me more.

I can no longer send private messages (and maybe not receive?), even though my inbox and outbox are not yet full. I write, click "send" and they disappear and never show up in the outbox.
